like below fixes the issue Don't do it in Java. Any decent database already provides builtin facilities for this. It won't be any more efficient in Java than the DB does. Just consult its documentation for export facilities. As you didn't mention which one you're using, I'll just give a MySQL targeted example: LOAD DATA INFILE.

How to use Java Emitter Template (JET) to generate Java code from a a .xmi file created based on an EMF model

I hope this helps you . Since you only had two choices for transformation id I'm going to say that you did not create a JET transform project. If you had then its transform id would have shown up in the drop down list in the configurations dialog.
I would start by using the new project wizard to create a new JET transform project. The default behavior of a new transform is to dump the input model into a file named dump.xml in the root directory of the same project that contains the input model file. When this JET project has been created then use the run configuration dialog to run the transform against your XML file. When you look at the dump.xml file that gets created you'll see the actual model that JET uses. EMF models can be cyclical but JET will adapt an EMF model into a subset that is hierarchical in nature.

seems to work fine I'm guessing you are appending the same object twice. You need to call createElement each time.
This won't work
code :
    Element name = doc.createElement("name");
    name.appendChild(doc.createTextNode("Gone with the wind"));

    name.appendChild(doc.createTextNode("Call of the wind"));
    Element name = doc.createElement("name");
    name.appendChild(doc.createTextNode("Gone with the wind"));

    name = doc.createElement("name");
    name.appendChild(doc.createTextNode("Call of the wind"));
     Document doc = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance().newDocumentBuilder().newDocument();

    Element root = doc.createElement("catalogue");

    Element books = doc.createElement("books");

    Element book1 = doc.createElement("book");
    book1.setAttribute("id", "1");

    Element book1_name = doc.createElement("name");
    book1_name.setTextContent("Gone with the wind");

    Element book1_quantity = doc.createElement("quantity");

    Element book2 = doc.createElement("book");
    book2.setAttribute("id", "2");

    Element book2_name = doc.createElement("name");
    book2_name.setTextContent("Call of the wind");

    Element book2_quantity = doc.createElement("quantity");

    Element book3 = doc.createElement("book");
    book3.setAttribute("id", "3");

    Element book3_quality = doc.createElement("quality");

I hope this helps you . Ok, I have found the solution. One needs to get the path to the java file to write to by using ProjectOperations, then using MutableFile in order to be able to operate the file.

Does that help Instead of creating your own simple type to represent integers starting with 0, you could leverage the existing xs:nonNegativeInteger type. I'll demonstrate with an example.
code :
package forum11667335;

import javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlSchemaType;

public class SpThread {

    private int durTime;

    public int getDurTime() {
        return durTime;

    public void setDurTime(int durTime) {
        this.durTime = durTime;

package forum11667335;

import java.io.IOException;
import javax.xml.bind.*;
import javax.xml.transform.Result;
import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamResult;

public class Demo {

    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance(SpThread.class);

        jc.generateSchema(new SchemaOutputResolver() {

            public Result createOutput(String namespaceUri, String suggestedFileName) throws IOException {
                StreamResult result = new StreamResult(System.out);
                return result;

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<xs:schema version="1.0" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
  <xs:complexType name="spThread">
      <xs:element name="durTime" type="xs:nonNegativeInteger"/>

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You can use the ANT jars ant.jar and ant-launcher.jar.
In this case the path for build.xml should be fully specified. Call it from your Java class this way:
code :
public class AntTest {
public static void main(String[] args) {
    String build = "D:/xampp/htdocs/aud/TempProject/build.xml";
 * Generate APK through ANT API Method
public static void generateApkThroughAnt(String buildPath) {
    File antBuildFile = new File(buildPath);
    Project p = new Project();
    p.setUserProperty("ant.file", antBuildFile.getAbsolutePath());
    DefaultLogger consoleLogger = new DefaultLogger();
    BuildException ex = null;
    try {
        ProjectHelper helper = ProjectHelper.getProjectHelper();
        p.addReference("ant.projectHelper", helper);
        helper.parse(p, antBuildFile);
    } catch (BuildException e) {
        ex = e;
    } finally {
