wish help you to fix your issue The + operator is overloaded, whereas the & operator is not. The & operator only does string concatenation. In some circles the & operator is used as a best practice because it is unambiguous, and therefore cannot have any unintended effects as a result of the overloading.

wish helps you i am querying for event viewer log using vbscript. When I try ot use OR operator @ Where Logfile='System' Or 'Application' it gives info but drops TYPE condition and i found my results with information type data. How do i combine this two queries so that I don't have to write extra code. , You can use parentheses for an inner comparison.

this will help If you take the definition quiet literally, you will probably come to a statement like for a logical implication:
code :
If ($Expression1) {If ($Expression2) {DoThis}} Else {DoThis}
If (($True, [Bool]$Expression2)[[Bool]$Expression1]) {...}
If (!$Expression1 -or $Expression2) {...}
0..3 | ForEach {
    $Expression1, $Expression2 = [Int]($_ / 2), [Int]($_ % 2)
    New-Object PSObject -Property @{
        Expression1 = [Bool]$Expression1
        Expression2 = [Bool]$Expression2
        Implication = !$Expression1 -or $Expression2
    }
} | Format-Table -AutoSize
Expression1 Expression2 Implication
----------- ----------- -----------
      False       False        True
      False        True        True
       True       False       False
       True        True        True
$Implication = -bNot Expression1 -bOr Expression2    # e.g.: -bNot 3 -bOr 5 = -3 (-bAnd 0xF = 13)

I think the issue was by ths following , The default step increment for a vbscript for loop is 1. By adding in y=y+1, you are effectively increasing your increment by 2 each cycle:
