Can't start adb

Can't start adb

it helps some times I know that this may seem obvious, but you'll get that error if you try to start adb when it is already running. I don't know the specific process for the task manager in Vista, but be sure it isn't already running.
I was able to reproduce and resolve your issue by killing the automatically started adb and then running: adb nodaemon server ADB_TRACE=ALL from the command line.

should help you out How about setting the registry key to call your application with an /AUTOSTART commandline parameter. Then you can test for this and know that you've got the registry start, not the manual start.
Why didn't my init.d start-stop-daemon script start the application on boot, but I can start the service manually?

it should still fix some issue You do have the link the script into the various run-level init directories. Try chkconfig start-foo on to enable that, assuming your box has chkconfig installed. Otherwise you need to manually put symlinks into each run level's init dir pointing back at the script.

it should still fix some issue In your updateTimer method you calculate the time difference between startDate and the current date. You don't take into account that you would have to subtract the time that passed while the stopwatch was stopped.
Edit:
code :
- (void)viewDidLoad
{
    //...
    timePassed = 0;
}

-(IBAction)startPressed:(id)sender{
    if(!running){
        //...
        startDate = [NSDate date];
        //...
    }else{
        NSDate *currentDate = [NSDate date];
        NSTimeInterval intervalToAdd = [currentDate timeIntervalSinceDate:startDate];
        timePassed += intervalToAdd;
    //...
}

-(void)updateTimer{
    currentDate = [NSDate date];
    NSTimeInterval timeInterval = [currentDate timeIntervalSinceDate:startDate];

    timeInterval += timePassed; // <<<<<

    NSDate *timerDate = [NSDate dateWithTimeIntervalSince1970:timeInterval];
    NSDateFormatter *dateFormatter = [[NSDateFormatter alloc] init];
    [dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"HH:mm:ss.S"];
    [dateFormatter setTimeZone:[NSTimeZone timeZoneForSecondsFromGMT:0.0]];
    timeString=[dateFormatter stringFromDate:timerDate];
    lbl.text = timeString;
}

-(IBAction)resetPressed:(id)sender{
    if (!running) {
        //...
        timePassed = 0;
        //...
    }
    //...
}
Why is using a loop to iterate from start of array to end faster than iterating both start to end and end to start?

Any of those help Given an array having .length 100 containing elements having values 0 to 99 at the respective indexes, where the requirement is to find element of of array equal to n : 51. , The answer is pretty obvious:
More operations take more time.
code :
               | forwards | forwards and backwards
---------------+------------+------------------------
>=/===/<       |       100  |                   200
++/--          |        50  |                   100
a[b]           |        50  |                   100
&&/||/if/for   |       100  |                   200
Why prefer start + (end - start) / 2 over (start + end) / 2 when calculating the middle of an array?

I wish this help you There are three reasons.
First of all, start + (end - start) / 2 works even if you are using pointers, as long as end - start doesn't overflow1.
