Which light C++ event/delegate (signal/slot) library should I choose?

To fix this issue My feeling is that http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cpp/ImpossiblyFastCppDelegate.aspx is a great implementation for games. No dynamic memory allocation, reasonable performance, simple to debug => great for games.
I have used similar delegates in the past, this implementation looks more efficient.

it helps some times I suspect there is no clearly good answer, but clarity will come from documenting the guarantees you wish to make about concurrent access to an Emitter object.
One level of guarantee, which to me is what is implied by a promise of thread safety, is that:

choose which signal is connected to the slot

This might help you How to use a specefic signal when there is signals that have the same name and emits different arguments. , I had just to change this line:
code :
buttonGroup.buttonClicked.connect( self.onButtonClicked )
buttonGroup.buttonClicked[int].connect( self.onButtonClicked )

will help you The best signal & slot library is of course Boost.Signal2. It's portable, thread-safe, template-based and header only. You'll love it.
And yes. I know you asked this one year ago, but I simply couldn't left it unanswered.

Qt: How to know if slot was called by signal-slot mechanism by calling the signal like a function

Does that help Inside a slot I check the QObject::sender() but now I want to call this slot directly like a function. ,
Add a default parameter to your slot:
