should help you out I know that wxpython does not have the option of getting rid of the default icon of wx.Frame without disabling Close/Maximize/Minimize buttons. But I wonder if there is any way to use an empty icon and hide the default icon from the mainframe? I can not come up with any and if there is any way to do it, would anyone please let me know? or if there is any other idea or a way to hide the default icon, I would appreciate if you could let me know. , This worked for me on windows 10 on wxpython 4.1a
code :
import wx

def create_invis_icon():
    frame = wx.Frame(None)

    bmp = wx.Bitmap(32, 32)
    # the default bitmap color is black, make it transparent
    bmp.SetMaskColour(wx.BLACK)
    icon = wx.Icon(bmp)
    frame.SetIcon(icon)
    frame.Show()

app = wx.App()
create_invis_icon()
app.MainLoop()

it should still fix some issue Given JFrame 1, JFrame 2 and JFrame 3 each one with its respective icon:
The setIcons method:
code :
public void setIcons(List<JFrame> frames, Image icon) {
    List<Image> iconAsList = new ArrayList<Image>();
    iconAsList.add(icon);
    for(JFrame frame: frames) {
        frame.setIconImages(iconAsList);
    }
}
...
List<JFrame> frames = new ArrayList<JFrame>();
JFrame frame1 = new JFrame();
JFrame frame2 = new JFrame();
JFrame frame3 = new JFrame();
Image icon1 = new ImageIcon("icon1.png").getImage();
Image icon2 = new ImageIcon("icon2.png").getImage();
Image icon3 = new ImageIcon("icon3.png").getImage();

frames.add(frame1);
frames.add(frame2);
frames.add(frame3);

setIcons(frames, icon1); //Set all frames to use icon 1

//DO OTHER STUFF

setIcons(frames, icon3); //Set all frames to use icon 3
...

Java swing applets change frame icon

wish help you to fix your issue Untrusted code cannot change the icon.
Arguably that's a bit pointless now as you can draw the frame yourself on a frameless window. Although you probably don't have all the information necessary to get the frame exactly right on some systems, such as under Windows Aero with either blurry background or "watermarked" opaque pattern.
