Switching from Windows Form to Web Form

I wish this helpful for you This is where separation of concerns and n-tier design shine through. Hopefully your UI layer is loosely coupled from your domain model. If this is the case, you can code a second IU layer for the web. And not have to change your domain model at all. Then you can compile for each scenario.
*note - In practical use I have always had to extend my business domain to account for some issues with the second UI, but those modifications have usually been minor, and have pointed out places where I had coupled too tightly anyway.

wish helps you I think a wizard-like design for your application is more appropriate. Tabs are not supposed to work like that from a user's perspective.
But a workaround for your current situation is:

How would I save form field values when switching to another form partial dynamically?

it helps some times There is one of many ways to do this, here's mine.
First I would remove the call to load a partial from your jQuery. That's where your problem is. Because each time the form is loaded, it writes a new version of the form.
code :
<div class="dog-form">
  <%= render(:partial => 'dogs/form', locals: { dog: @dog }) %>
<div class="house-form">
  <%= render(:partial => 'house/form', locals: { house: @house }) %>
$("#toggle-dog-form").click(function(){ $(".dog-form").toggle() };
$("#toggle-house-form").click(function(){ $(".house-form").toggle() };

code :
form2.FormClosed += Form2_FormClosed;

private void Form2_FormClosed(object sender, FormClosedEventArgs e)
