this will help This code will look through all your text input elements and textarea elements on page load. It will store their original values using $.data. It will then do the emptying and refilling as appropriate.
code :
$(document).ready(function(){
    $('form input:text, form textarea').each(function(){
        $.data(this, 'default', this.value);
    }).focus(function(){
        if ($.data(this, 'default') == this.value) {
            this.value = '';
        }
    }).blur(function(){
        if (this.value == '') {
            this.value = $.data(this, 'default');
        }
    });
});

With these it helps I have a form with an input (#test). Does anyone know how to, when in focus, display another div (#tool-tip) with jQuery?
code :
$("#test").focusin(function() {
    $("#tool-tip").show();
}).focusout(function () {
    $("#tool-tip").hide();
});

AngularJS form input focus, data does not show in model

it helps some times You defined a scope property on directive definition object. When you do that you create an isolated scope on top of the whole element, so that all other directives that are applied to that element (including ngModel) are also affected by it.
This issue has been addressed in other places (see "form element ng-model change not observered in isolate scope directive watch", "ngModel and component with isolated scope" and github issue 1924), but it's quite cumbersome to overcome.
code :
var myApp = angular.module('myApp',[]).directive('focusMe', function($timeout) {
    return function(scope, element, attrs) {
        attrs.$observe('focusMe', function(value) {
            if ( value==="true" ) {
                $timeout(function(){
                    element[0].focus();
                },5);
            }
        });
    }
});

around this issue This question is not trivial, but according to this answer, it can be solved in the following way:
HTML
code :
<textarea id="example1" onfocus="focushandler('divID1');"></textarea>
<br />
<textarea id="example2" onfocus="focushandler('divID2');"></textarea>
<br />

<div id="divID1">
    <p>This div is blue</p>
    <br />
    <input type="checkbox" />Checkbox A
</div>
<div id="divID2">
    <p>This div is green</p>
    <br />
    <input type="checkbox" />Checkbox B
</div>
var current = null; //currently shown div - divID1 or divID2

function focushandler(id) {
    if (current !== null) {
        current.style.display = 'none';
    }
    var div = document.getElementById(id);
    div.style.display = 'block';
    current = div;
}

function clickhandler(e) {
    if (current == null) { //if both divs are hidden
        return;
    }
    e = e || window.event; //for IE8,7 compatibility
    var t = e.target || e.srcElement; // clicked element
    var sig = false;
    // now check all parents
    while (t) {
        if (t === current || t.nodeName == 'TEXTAREA') {
            sig = true;
        }
        t = t.parentNode;
    }
    if (sig) {
        return;
    }
    current.style.display = 'none';
    current = null;
}

if (document.documentElement.addEventListener) {
    document.documentElement.addEventListener('click', clickhandler, false);
} else if (document.documentElement.attachEvent) { // for IE8-7 compatibility
    document.documentElement.attachEvent('onclick', clickhandler);
}

How to stop yellow background on input field focus?

Hope that helps It is likely happening in other browsers as well. As Shaun has stated it is likelty due to auto-complete. Safari also highlights input fields yellow (on mobile and desktop). This could be why.
