Java processes using proxy server, hosing up everything

will be helpful for those in need The definitive reference for network proxy configuration in Java 5 is this Java Networking and Proxies page. From this page, it seems that Java 5 pays no attention to the system settings from the host environment. But even if it is supposed to pay attention to them, the fact that this is (apparently) not working for you means that you should not be relying on this ... at least for now.
In order to explicitly configure a Java 5 JVM to use a default proxy for HTTP you need to set the Java system properties:

around this issue I found out how to do this thing, with the help of a contributor to another forum which in the flurry of trying all sorts of things I've forgotten. So thank you to that now forgotten person.
Here's the code that worked in the end (suitably disguised, but gives the right idea):
code :
    BasicHttpBinding binding = new BasicHttpBinding("APISoap"); /* APISoap is the name of the binding element in the app.config */
    binding.Security.Mode = BasicHttpSecurityMode.TransportCredentialOnly;
    binding.Security.Transport.ProxyCredentialType = HttpProxyCredentialType.Basic;
    binding.UseDefaultWebProxy = false;
    binding.ProxyAddress = new Uri(string.Format("http://{0}:{1}", proxyIpAddress, proxyPort));
    EndpointAddress endpoint = new EndpointAddress("http://www.examplewebservice/api.asmx");

    WebServiceClient client = new WebServiceClient(binding, endpoint);

    client.ClientCredentials.UserName.UserName = proxyUserName;
    client.ClientCredentials.UserName.Password = proxyPassword;

wish help you to fix your issue I cannot comment on C#, but Java surely has very good support for proxies.
You can read the Oracle documentation on Using Proxies. Also please go through the ProxySelector which was introduced in JDK 1.5.
code :
Proxy proxy = (Proxy) ProxySelector.getDefault().select(new URI("http://www.yahoo.com/")).iterator().
System.out.println("proxy hostname : " + proxy.type());
InetSocketAddress addr = (InetSocketAddress)
if (addr == null) {
   System.out.println("No Proxy");
else {
   System.out.println("proxy hostname : "
   + addr.getHostName());
   System.out.println("proxy port : "
   + addr.getPort());

around this issue the answer for me was stop using proxy module and make the proxy operation manually.
please find code below:
code :
self.app.all('/blabla/*',function(req,res) {
    console.log("inside /blabla request");

     var headers = {

        'Content-Type': 'application/json',
        'Content-Length': req.body.length ,
        'Accept': '*/*',

      url: "http://YOUR_EXTERNAL_SERVER"+req.url,
      method: "GET",
      timeout: 10000,
      followRedirect: true,
      maxRedirects: 10,
      headers: headers
    }, function(error, response, body) {
        console.log("error " +error + " body "+ body);
            if(!error ) console.log(response.statusCode);
            if (!error && response.statusCode == 200) {
                var ob=JSON.parse(body);
            else if (!error){
              console.log(" response.statusCode "+ response.statusCode);
            else {

How to transfer a file using a proxy with JSch library Can we use JSch for SSH key-based communication?
