Determine if QTableView has an open editor

By : user2198107

To fix this issue Subclass your delegate so that it includes an accessor that tells you when it's editing:
code :
void MyDelegate::setEditorData ( QWidget * editor, const QModelIndex & index ) const {
    // _isEditing will have to be mutable because this method is const
    _isEditing = true;
    QStyledItemDelegate::setEditorData(editor, index);
}

void MyDelegate::setModelData ( QWidget * editor, QAbstractItemModel * model, const QModelIndex & index ) const {
    QStyledItemDelegate::setModelData(editor, model, index);
    _isEditing = false;
}

bool MyDelegate::isEditing() const { return _isEditing; }

PyQt4 - QTableView - How to loop over QTableView

help you fix your problem I think you confused model and view in some places within your question...
But, why not simply get the number of rows and columns and loop over all of them:
code :
for irow in xrange(model.rowCount()):
    row = []
    for icol in xrange(model.columnCount()):
        cell = model.data(model.createIndex(irow, icol))
        row.append(cell)
    # print all elems per row
    print ', '.join(str(c) for c in row))

QTableView::rect() and QTableView::geometry() not giving accurate results

around this issue What is that rect() of? Most likely you're asking for a wrong one. Remember that these views are scroll areas, and the rect() you should be concerned with is that of the viewport().
