This might help you I'd have to look up the exact code, but it is entirely possible with jQuery.
Something like this perhaps?:

Selecting items from generic list based on true condition from another list

To fix this issue I am wondering if there would be any LINQ/Lambda expression solution for the problem below.
code :
var results = listData.Where((item, index) => listFilter[index] == 1);

Subtract items in a single list and retrieve items that match a condition

around this issue I recently asked a question regarding the retrieval of differences between two lists that meet a condition, but I keep failing to alter the EXAMPLE LAMBDA EXPRESSION below to do the same for the items in a single list: , This is a shorter version:
code :
>>> A = ['12', '15', '20', '30']
>>> [x for x in A if len(A) == 1 or filter(lambda y: 0 < abs(int(y) - int(x)) <= 5,A)]
['12', '15', '20']

I wish did fix the issue. I have two List as defined below , Well, ToList() creates a new list from which the items are removed
code :
 newItems.ToList().RemoveAll(x => x.Name == item.Name);
 newItems = newItems
   .Where(item => !oldItems.Any(old => old.Name == item.Name))
   .ToList(); // If you want to have a list

LINQ: Filtering items List by some condition and do something with item by condition

This might help you Assume I have users which is List, and User class has Type and Age properties. I want to filter that list of users by some condition, and do something per item, based on condition. Let this list has 10 users, and some of them are of Type "complex" and some of them "simple". I want my final list to be users with age above 30, and if Type of user is "complex", to do something on it and then add it to final list. It should be something like:
code :
var users = users.Where(u => u.Age > 30) // common filter
                 .Select(u => u.Type == "complex" ? doSomething(u) : u) //select user or transformed
                 .Where(u => u != null) //not null only
