With these it helps As mentionned in the documentation of JQuery, .live() is considered deprecated. You should use the method .on() instead.

jQuery: Targeting elements added via *non-jQuery* AJAX before any Javascript events fire? Beyond the scope of live()?

it should still fix some issue .live() doesn't work like this, it's a common misconception. .live() creates an event handler at the DOM root and waits for events to bubble up to it. If the selector matches the event target, .live() will fire the bound event.
It doesn't look for new objects and bind events to them in any way, rather it just listens for a bubble, and doesn't care when that object was added to the DOM.
code :
$('#myID').livequery(function() { $(this).offset()...stuff });

jQuery/Ajax SQL live update via PHP help

around this issue In your php code where you do the update, You could echo your contacts in html-format. That would then return to your success function in jquery.
code :
success: function(){
    $('form#form').hide(function(){$('.success').fadeIn();});
}
success: function(data){
    $('form#form').hide(function(){$('.success').fadeIn();});
    $(data).appendTo('#result');
}

help you fix your problem I want to use AJAX with .live() so i can make things neat. I wan to know how it is done, I have provided a basic function: on a button click a tag is placed in a . But i need to use live() in order to use a lightbox on that image. , Use a callback:
code :
$(function(){

    $('button').live('click', function() {
        $('div').load('test1.txt', function() {
            $('#gallery a').lightBox();
        });
    });

});

Jquery: live('load', ...) or live('ready', ...) do not work on ajax-loaded elements! What will do?

it fixes the issue The way I would handle this is to add a live() event to a custom trigger of your own creation. Then, when the ajax responds to the request just use the .triggerHandler() discussed here to fire off that custom trigger. This means that all your ajax would have to contain is the triggerHandler() code. It's not ideal, but it deals with the lack of a working load() function for all element types.
