help you fix your problem There are many good choices, but I can personally recommend these:
Source control: Subversion with TortoiseSVN and Ankh or VisualSVN Continuous Integration: CruiseControl.NET TDD tools: NUnit + your mocking framework of choice (I use NMock, though it's a bit old-school). I agree with commenter Eric that TestDriven.NET is a must-have, particularly if you want to make this easy!

this one helps. I use Git ( http://git-scm.com ) when moving stuff back and forth between my Mac and PC.
I have had a lot of success using DropBox ( http://www.dropbox.com ) to host a bare Git repository and then I clone that repository on my Mac and my PC, then I can create branches and push/pull all I want between the local copy and the origin in the drop box folder which will then get automatically synced to my other machine.

Source Control tools for Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 scripts and database updates?

With these it helps My Org has been using both for two different projects, and I have become very partial to the RedGate tools. As you mention to get the full functionality you need the whole toolset from RedGate, but you get a lot of extras with that as well (including refactoring, or global search/replacing). For syncing of DEV to TEST/QA/PROD environments I use their Compare products to build out sets of scripts (which generally require further review). I don't really trust any tool to update an in-use schema unless I'm prepared to quickly restore it.
In contrast I found the MS tools to be overly complicated, which made them somewhat inflexible. We found ourselves in a pickle when we had some changes in the DB that needed to be synced to the project, but changes in the project that wouldn't allow it to be built without the changes from the DB... it ended up in a whole catch-22 scenario that required a LOT of manual editing (and resulted in testing and purchase of the RedGate tools).

may help you . This isn't perfect but it saves you a couple of steps.
In Solution Explorer, right click on your project and select properties. Now select the debugging tab. Change the Command line from $(TargetPath) to GraphStudio.exe (or whatever your process name is). Change the Attach line from No to Yes. Click on OK.

Any of those help When downloaded from Microsoft Dreamsparks, like i did. The software installer creates a temp folder on the c drive. this is what the program was looking for. The reason it could not find it because it was downloaded on another pc. Which means the temp folder was never created.
