hope this fix your issue I am trying to build a wpf application that allows the user to change the theme at runtime. What I have done so far is create a resourcedictionary with all the colors for the application defined in it and then I am binding to this dictionary in the xaml. , In my case, I simply had to change:

Merging Resource Dictionaries dynamically at runtime (for plugins)

To fix this issue You need to get - either by code or convention - the details of the resource dictionary to be merged. The details could be the name of the resource dictionary or the ResourceDictionary instance itself.
In the latter case, you have the ResourceDictionary instance so you can just merge it into your Application-level (or whatever level is suitable) resources.

Is there any way to set the TableAttribute at runtime, OR any way to do LINQ type switching at runtime?

help you fix your problem You can implement this scenario by manually creating a base class (which is not mapped to any table) and two its 'trivial' descendants (each mapped to one of the tables you work with).
More precisely, the following steps should be performed:
code :
namespace MyContext {

  public partial class ItemBase : INotifyPropertyChanging, INotifyPropertyChanged {
    ... // Generated code.

  [Table(Name = @"ItemXs")]
  public partial class ItemX : ItemBase {}

  [Table(Name = @"ItemYs")]
  public partial class ItemY : ItemBase {}

  public partial class MyDataContext {

    public Devart.Data.Linq.Table<ItemX > ItemXs {
      get { return this.GetTable<ItemX>(); }

    public Devart.Data.Linq.Table<ItemY> ItemYs {
      get { return this.GetTable<ItemY>(); }

wish help you to fix your issue I would suggest you follow through a database tutorial like: http://www.quackit.com/database/tutorial/.
You'll want to make two tables, one that contains the word values, and one that contains the tuples. The tuples should not be in a list, but all have a separate row. You can link the tuples to the words using foreign keys. You can link multiple rows to the same word, in that way keeping the tuples from the list linked to a single word.
code :
Word table                              tuple table

primary_key   word                      primary_key     tuple     foreign_key
1             example1                  1               (1,2)     1
2             example2                  2               (3,9)     1
                                        3               (4,1)     2
                                        4               (4,2)     2
myDict = {'example1' = [(1,2), (3,9)], 'example2' = [(4,1), (4,2)]}

help you fix your problem In Python, there is a difference between attribute references, the syntax where you use dots to access attributes of objects, and subscriptions, where you use square brackets to access items of an object.
You can use this difference in your custom types by using the special methods __getitem__ (and the related methods for setting etc.) and __getattr__ (and related methods). So you can implement your types to support both syntaxes to achieve the same; or you can use it to assign difference semantics to each syntax as it is the case for standard Python types.
