I wish this helpful for you Open SQL Server Configuration Manager and make sure that the services are running.
If the service is running, another thing to try would be to change the name from Anant-PC to localhost.

will help you I missed to update TCP/IP ip addresses section.. setting the port to 1433 and restarting fixed the issue.
