wish helps you You can use @Import annotation if using Java configurations or tag if using XMl configs. With this approach you can reuse import one Spring context into another one.
Link to documentation: http://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/current/spring-framework-reference/htmlsingle/#beans-java-using-import
code :
<import resource="classpath:application-config.xml"/>

Re-Initialize spring beans without app server restart or at runtime

this one helps. Was able to solve it by having the class implement ApplicationContextAware
code :
public class ReloadConfig implements ApplicationContextAware{

private static Logger log = Logger.getLogger(ReloadConfig.class);

private Config config;

ApplicationContext applicationContext;

private ReloadConfig() {
    // Exists only to defeat instantiation.
    config = Config.getInstance();

public void reloadIfNotLoaded() throws ConfigurationException{

    CompositeConfiguration configuration = new CompositeConfiguration();

    if(config.getHealthFile() == null){

        log.info("Reloading Adding default properties found in config.properties");
        configuration.addConfiguration(new PropertiesConfiguration("config.properties"));

        ConfigurableApplicationContext configurableApplicationContext = (ConfigurableApplicationContext)getApplicationContext();

public void setApplicationContext(ApplicationContext context) throws BeansException {
    applicationContext = context;

public ApplicationContext getApplicationContext() {
    return applicationContext;

What is a right way to initialize fields in Spring Beans?

wish helps you Assuming the value is a constant, the first option is the simplest to understand and works without Spring, simplifying unit testing.
The second and fourth option are more complex and introduce an unnecessary dependency on the Spring container without any benefit. The third option is outright bizarre, since you're using @Autowired and not performing dependency injection.
