Opening multiple files at once in Emacs
this one helps. You can just provide * as the file name and press Enter; you'll be asked for a confirmation and if you press Enter a second time, all files in the directory will be opened.Note that "opening all files in a directory" involves opening

Opening emacs without the scratch buffer when opening a file
I wish this help you I've changed a setting in Emacs. Now, whenever I try to open a file from the command line, it opens a *scratch* buffer on top of the file. Is there a way to get rid of this? Or a way to reset my emacs startup settings?
