fixed the issue. Will look into that further It seems, that it's not possible to do it now for a single task - there is an open issue for supporting such a case, which is still open.

I hope this helps you . I found out what my problem was.I was installing in my IDE the jar in build/libs instead of the zip in build/distributions.

I wish this helpful for you I'm generating the javadoc using Java 11 and gradle for a project that does not use modules using the configuration below. , You need to add a boolean option with the leading hyphen removed:
